About Course

Everything you need to understand right away. We explore a little to discover how good a yoke can be on a shirt and to see the outfit in which the women framed these masterpieces. We rummaged so deep in museum deposits, through villages and fairs that we were convinced.

I’ll explain it to you together with Gabriela and Alina, as I also learned: in stages. So:

The spectacular shirts with yoke from Oaş, delicate lace shirts from Dobrogea or Lunca Dunării, hajduk shirts – there are options for everyone. The yoke is a special piece of fabric that sits on the shoulders and appears as a more recent, urban influence. How we make the yoke and how we get the whole shirt to revolve around it, we find out together.
