About Course

Everything you need to understand right away. We explore a little to discover the context in which the shirts were worn and the needs that shaped the petticoats. We rummaged so deep in museum deposits, in villages and fairs, that we managed to find things that are not even in books. I’ll explain it to you together with Gabriela, as I also learned, in stages. So:

The petticoats complete the costume and give you the proper appearance. When you don’t want to wear the traditional shirt with jeans, you have to understand what you can match with the shirt to achieve a balanced look. Simple, with lace or embroidery, the petticoat is in close connection with the rest of the ensemble. We show you how to cut them so you can move freely and how to make sure they match the rest of the outfit.
